Ann Kreitman is a community builder and arts worker committed to the ridiculousness of being alive together even in the most heinous of circumstances. They collaborate with artists, librarians, organizations, and students to expand queer liberatory imaginations and practice community caretaking. As an artist, Ann writes, directs, and clowns their way through plays and non-plays with queer archives as their favorite collaborator. In 2020, Ann co-founded the LGBTQ Iowa Archives & Library, working to preserve and share Iowa's queer history and promote access to LGBTQ literature for all ages. Brooklyn-based but a true Midwesterner (with a corn tattoo to prove it), Ann loves camping, 24/7 diners, scream-singing in a Subaru, and making bread.
