Praise is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, educator, and community organizer. She primarily works with the photographic printmaking method “cyanotype.” and writes poetry. Through her practice, she experiments with art as a tool for political education, meditating on ideas of home, building and dreaming of new worlds, and translating personal reflections. On an off-day you can find her in the studio, browsing museums/galleries or perusing books on art, politics, and poetry.
