Shareka is a metro Atlanta native with a degree in Economics & Business from Agnes Scott College. Her studies of Economics developed a curiosity of and desire to tackle the economic disparities among underrepresented and underserved populations across a global spectrum. Shareka’s credentials include accountant roles among large corporate entities and small to mid-size nonprofit organizations with an emphasis in social activism, housing, and performing arts. She is a strong advocate for the access to arts for all socioeconomic backgrounds, crediting art therapy to her continued healing journey and growth as an individual. When she is not crunching numbers, you can find Shareka enjoying all that Atlanta has to offer, from sports to music, and boarding a plane to a beach and possibly a new continent.
